According to IHS Markit analyst Jeff Lin, Apple will launch the rumored 16-inch MacBook Pro in September. Lin believes the new MacBook Pro will feature a 16-inch LCD display, supplied by LG Display, with a resolution of 3,072×1,920 pixels. This is more than the 15-inch MacBook Pro's resolution of 2,880×1,800 pixels.
It was originally reported earlier on by The Elec that the new 16-inch MacBook Pro would feature an OLED display, however, it seems Apple will stick with LCD.
In addition to the larger display, the new MacBook Pro is expected to feature a newer processor and an all-new design.
